Directions: Take the Camp Clark exit off US Highway 71 in Nevada, MO. Follow MO Route K east then south to the front gate. Once on post, follow the signs to registration.
Authenticity Notes: Open to any ETO impression, December - January 1944 time-frame. WW II HRS Authenticity and Safety Rules apply.
Prohibited Vehicles/Items: No alcoholic beverages on post; smoking is prohibited in all buildings.
Motels: Several in area, but barracks space will be provided.

Directions: Site is located in DeKalb Co. at 3719 Suydam Road just east of Rollo. Site is 6.5 miles west of Rt. 23 and 7 miles south of Rt. 30. Site is 10 miles east of rt. 39 off the Paw Paw Exit 82. follow the “Camping signs to find. From Chicago Take I-88 west to the “ Sugar Grove Rt.30” Exit. Take Rt. 30 west 20 miles to Rt. 23. Take Rt. 23 south 7 miles to Suydam Road . Take Suydam Road west 6.5 miles to Stonehouse Park.
Authenticity Notes: WWII HRS and TSG Rules apply.
Prohibited Vehicles/Items: All types of period vehicles will be permitted, tracked vehicles weather permitting.

Motels: No. Overnight camping will be available in the existing three bay barn building and construction trailers on site for those who wish to campout Friday evening . The site has flush toilets and shower facilities and water but no food.
Units must preregister with Park in groups of 15 men minimum to 20 men maximum size squads. Registration should be done under Squad Commanders name. Preregistration shall be done at Stonehouse Park Website. Any squad of reenactors who can not meet the minimum squad size, will be formed up in ad hock squads the morning of the event or will be assigned to other preregistered squads. All squads must coordinate via e-mail with Allied and Axis force commanders prior to event and report the vehicles and weapons that will be used in that squad. All squad will have a Stonehouse Park provided referee embedded with the squad whom will be in radio contact with other referees. It is the intent to provide a referee for every squad and major tactical weapon system. The registration process will aid in determine the number of referees required.
Rules of engagement and additional information regarding the scenario will be posted on the Stonehouse Park Website in the near future.

Living History Military History Day & Public Battle Event
Thunder over Minnesota III
‘Salute to D-Day' - ETO Public Battle

Event Times: See tentative timeline below . Period military camping sites available. Non-period camping sites available separately. Saturday is the event day and will have a Living History component all day for all Military Impressions and also a forty-five minute WWII ETO Public Battle event with 6 vintage US military aircraft and coordinated pyrotechnic effects . I.e. Including aircraft sorties of strafing runs and bomb drops, etc. Likely B-25 bomber fly over is also being considered. A Vietnam public battle is also scheduled.

Pre-registration: AVAILABLE and REQUIRED –Traxler Hunting Preserve Liability Release form will required to be completed and signed ahead of time. This is required for acquisition and allocation of blank ammunition and also, for participant meal planning and chit issues.
Fee: NO FEE – Free blank ammunition issue is provided event for participants, on a ‘ First Registered – First served' basis . Four meals are also provided for all Reenactors – Saturday; Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. Sunday; Breakfast. Also provided are refreshments and Reenactor party Saturday evening on-site in the Living History camp areas.

Authenticity Notes: WWII HRS Rules apply. Public Battle Event WWII ETO – Normandy D-Day Plus, France 1944. Military Living History Camps - Open to all Military Impression's, including Civil War and Vietnam.
Prohibited Vehicles/Items: None - Battle event coordinators have a contracted with the Pyrotechnic technicians that did effect for ‘Flags of Our Father' and ‘Letters from Iwo Jima', for a significant public battle display of WWII and Vietnam public battle display segments.
Pyrotechnics are open, pending area weather and dryness conditions. All period authentic vehicles, including tracked vehicles are welcome on the property.
Other restrictions: NO NON-PERIOD camping in the Living History encampment areas at Any Time !
All Non-Period camp set ups and associated equipment will be in an area within a few hundred yards of the Living History encampment areas.
