There is a WWII Battle on Saturday and Sunday. This year will feature the role of animals in support of the US military.

TURDA, ROMANIA 1944 IMMERSION EVENT

Authenticity Notes: This will be a total immersion living history/tactical event. We will go live at 5pm Friday night. Soviet/Romanian and German/Hungarian soldiers will act as if they are really in 1944 on the Eastern Front.
The Germans & Hungarians will headquarter in the village. They will be able to set up tents and there will be limited space in the buildings.
The Soviets, Romanian Partisans & Romanians will set up in the woods, you will be able to drive in to drop off tents and or gear. All modern vehicles will be off site by 5pm Friday and will not be allowed back on site until 11am Sunday.
Only Romanian Partisans will be allowed at this event. We will post requirements for them as the event gets closer.
This will not be like a normal tactical with objectives of you defend and we attack then sit around and chew the fat for an hour. Then on to the next objective. The German and Soviet commanders will be in contact with each other to organize some combat engagements.
Each side will have a movable aid station. When you are shot you will quickly retreat to the aid station and wait for at least 3 soldiers and 5 minutes before returning to the fight.
If you have a medic, you can sit on the ground for 5 minutes as the medic treats you, then get back in the fight. We will not shoot medics and if someone does, the medic can ignore the shots.
Please be honest with taking hits. It is more enjoyable for everyone. You will have plenty of trigger time. Please listen to your squad leaders. We don't want a bunch of lone wolves running around.
